SELECCIÓN TOP TENERIFE: Santa Cruz de Tenerife – El Bailadero – Anaga – La Esperanza

Possibly one of the most beautiful road bike routes in Tenerife.

We skirt the coast of Santa Cruz before facing the first difficulty, a first class pass like El Bailadero. A snake of horseshoe bends, for almost 11 and a half kilometres and with an average gradient of 5.7%.

You will see how the landscape changes radically every kilometre of ascent, going from the beaches of Santa Cruz de Tenerife to the lush vegetation of the Anaga Rural Park.

A sea of green mountains in which we will still have to add a few more kilometres of ascent until we reach Taganana.

We still have an additional 3 kilometres to go until we reach the well-known viewpoint of Pico del Inglés. If we add up the whole ascent, we could be talking about a special category pass.

We descend via Pedro Álvarez, to start climbing again up to Agua García and La Esperanza. From here, it will be all downhill for 17 kilometres until we return to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
