10 UCI WorldTeam teams in the Challenge Mallorca!

10 UCI WorldTeam teams will be part of the new edition of the Challenge Ciclista Mallorca, scheduled from January 26 to 30.

The organization of the GARDEN HOTELS – LUXCOM Challenge Ciclista Mallorca, the first major event on the European road cycling calendar, recently published the list of participating teams. In total, 25 teams registered, which represents a record of participation in the race. A peloton in which we hope to see many familiar faces, especially in the teams that are part of the UCI WorldTeam team group. Concretely, the 10 teams of the highest category which participate are:

  1. Movistar Team (Spain)
  2. UAE Team Emirates (United Arab Emirates)
  3. Bora-Hansgrohe (Germany)
  4. AG 2R Citroen Team (France)
  5. Israel Start-Up Nation (Israel)
  6. Lotto Soudal (Belgium)
  7. Team Bike Exchange Jayco (Australia)
  8. Cofidis (France)
  9. Intermarché Wanty Gobert Materiaux (Belgium)
  10. Trek Segafredo

We should also highlight the nine UCI ProTeam formations, including 5 Spanish, which form part of the bulk of the teams participating in the Mallorca Cycling Challenge: Caja Rural Seguros RGA (Spain), Euskaltel Euskadi (Spain), Kern Pharma (Spain), Eolo Kometa ( Spain), Bardiani-CSF-Faizanè (Italy), Team Arkéa Samsic (France), Burgos BH (Spain), Sport Vlaanderen Baloise (Belgium) and Drone Hopper Androni Giocattoli (Italy).

Finally, complete the group of teams up to 7 UCI ContinentalTeams: Beat Cycling (Holland), Minerva Cycling (Belgium), Manuela Fundación (Spain), Electro Hiper Europa (Colombia), Global 6 Cycling (New Zealand), Work Service Vitalcare Vega (Italy) and Java Kiwi Atlántico (Venezuela).

Participants will stay at Playa Garden Selection (accommodation with Cycling Friendly certification) and Alcúdia Garden, of which the Garden Hotels Luxcom chain is the main sponsor of the race.
