IRONMAN Mallorca changes date!

The IRONMAN franchise has informed the participants of the next IRONMAN Mallorca 2022, which was to be held on May 14, is brought forward a week.

The IRONMAN organisers have made the decision to change the date of IRONMAN Mallorca, initially scheduled for May 14, to a week earlier, May 7. This change of dates mean that the IRONMAN Mallorca and the Zafiro IRONMAN 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca take place on the same dates. An unexpected change of dates and which the organization justified after “jointly considering the impact on the community, the resources and how we can guarantee the best racing experience that meets the needs of our athletes and the community”.

The objective is none other than to create a “unique and exciting sporting weekend” by bringing the two events together, as was done in the last edition.

The organizers have already contacted the athletes registered for the race in order to make this change of dates a minor setback and to avoid additional costs for the participants.
