Casa au Lilas Rosa – Cycling in the Sun

La Casa au Lilas Rosa is a beautiful Spanish style villa, recently renovated and equipped to suit the needs of all sport lovers. Located perfectly between Calpe and Moraira, the many beaches, small coves, beach bars, restaurants and coastal paths make it an ideal holiday location as well as a perfect location to enjoy an active break.

From La Casa you can access 100km to 160km rides daily and not repeat the same route. Classics include, Coll de Rates, Porto de Bèrnia, Vall d’Ebo, Sa Crueta, Confrides, Tudons, Guadalest, and many many more. There are many other sporting opportunities in close proximity to La Casa which include sea swimming, mountain biking, snorkelling, windsurfing, paddle boarding, trail running, hiking, pool swimming in Benissa Pool less than 5km from La Casa, Tennis and Padel courts less than 2km from La Casa, an all year round golf course at 2km from La Casa with many more within easy driving distance. The Casa has a safe and secure garage for bike storage which is complete with track pump and bike tools to suit the needs of every cyclist.

Spacious, light and modern, La Casa can sleep up to 6 adult guests and 2 teenage children who are happy to sleep on one of the two sofa beds situated in the lounge and in the triple sized bedroom. There is also a travel cot and high chair for babies and a stair gate across the terrace entrance. La Casa has two double sized bedrooms complete with ensuite shower rooms and one triple sized bedroom with an extra clic-out-bed (suitable for children up to the age of 14) and separate shower room. All rooms have views of either the pool and terrace or the valley. Each room has been decorated and furnished in a simplistic, modern design complete with wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets for your cycling kit and post cycling clothes. The beds can either be single or super king sized depending on your needs. The lounge is spacious, complete with flat screen TV, a log-burner for the winter months, a double sofa-bed and views across the valley with a small but perfectly adequate inside eating area for your post-ride snack or the occasional wet day breakfast. The kitchen is well-equipped with all new electrical appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, hob, kettle, coffee maker and orange juice squeezer.

The outside space has beautiful views across the valley as well as down towards the sea and Calpe Rock. The private, outdoor pool isn’t heated but the hydromassage jacuzzi is set to 36 degrees, perfect for a post ride leg massage after a cool dip in the pool. The bottom terrace has an outdoor, concrete table tennis table with views down to Calpe Rock. The outdoor eating area is covered and sheltered and adequate for all guests to eat at the same time. There is a gas BBQ and paella ring for post-ride meals as well as a separate bar area with an outdoor beer fridge and extra storage for bike parts or shoes and helmets.

This Casa is ideal for all cyclists, triathletes, hikers, mountain bikers, beginner and seasoned cyclists, couples, families and anyone who wishes to explore the area and relax by the pool in the evening.
