Hotel THB El Cid

The THB El Cid is an adults only hotel standing on the seafront in Playa de Palma. Directly overlooking the beach, it boasts splendid sea views. The hotel is well communicated, just 5 km from the airport and a few minutes’ drive from the island’s capital, Palma.

The rooms have been renovated and the majority include sea views. The hotel Reception is staffed 24 hours a day and guests have a free WiFi connection throughout the hotel. The facilities include 2 outdoor pools – a main pool next to the sea promenade, affording stunning sea views, and ‘El Molino’, a pool surrounded by Bali beds situated in a quieter area at the rear of the hotel.

Guests may use the hotel’s wellness zone free of charge, which includes an indoor heated pool, sauna and Turkish bath. There is also an area for various types of massages and treatments which are available at an extra charge. The hotel also has a number of sports facilities, including a bicycle garage and workshop, tennis court and gym.

There is a buffet restaurant, lounge bar and pool bar serving delicious à la carte lunches and refreshing cocktails throughout the day. Guests may choose between bed and breakfast or half board.

The famous Palma Aquarium is located just 900 metres from the hotel, one of Majorca’s most popular tourist attractions.
