Andorra 21 Ports

Andorra 21 Ports is scheduled from June 24 to 26, 2023. 3 days of cycling through Andorra, one of the great cycling meccas. In this UCI seal event, cyclists will face the most spectacular climbs and experience the harshness of this cycle touring event.

Registration

There are two types of registration: either to participate in all stages, or to register only for the last stage. The price of registration for all stages ranges between 300 and 320 euros, depending on the part of the registration. In the case of a registration at the last stage, the price ranges between 85 and 130 euros.

The registration for the race will include a jersey, a bikepark, a wardrobe service, coffee before the start of the race, liquid and solid refreshments, medical assistance, a collection service in case of surrender, assistance mechanics during the race, a daily recovery zone, a finisher medal, etc.

The route

As the smartest will have guessed, the name "21 Ports" refers to the 21 climbs, on well marked roads and perfect for cycling.

The first stage consists of 88 km with a slope of 2400 m, with the climbs of Envalira, Cortals and Alt de la Comella. The first ascent has a gentle and comfortable slope, an ascent of 26 km with an average gradient of 5.2%. The Port dels Cortals d'Encamp is the most difficult climb, 8.9 km with an average gradient of 8.5%. The last, short climb, with an average of 5.8%, which will allow us to take advantage of the last section.

The second stage means 3 more emblematic climbs: Coll d'Ordino, Coll de la Peguera and Coll de la Gallina, in a stage of 106 km and 3,100 m of positive slope. Three difficult and demanding climbs. The Coll d'Ordino has a slope of 693 m and an average of 7%, over almost 10 demanding kilometers.

The second climb of the day is the longest, 13.9 km, with a vertical drop of 911 m and an average of 6.6%. Although it is the least demanding, it is not an ascent that is easily conquered. Finally, we will have to challenge the Coll de la Gallina, at 12.2 with a very demanding average of 8.4%, in a relentless climb. A step that will make crossing the finish line memorable for many.

To close the “Andorra 21 Ports”, a last day of 106 km with a positive slope of 2900 m. we will have to conquer the Collada de Beixalía, Arcalís and finally the Port of Cabús. 3 climbs a little less demanding than the day before, but it is by no means a simple walk. The Collada de Beixalis has 6.6 km at an average of 8.4%; Coma d'Arcalís has 10.5 km of positive elevation gain of 6.9%; and the Alt de Cabú will involve a climb to the top of 15.6 km with an average of 6.2%. A final climb with a final stage in the Central Park of Andorra la Vella.
