Bilbao Bilbao

The international cycling event Bilbao Bilbao 2023 is scheduled for March 19, 2023. Its 33rd edition, an event for all cycling enthusiasts that held its first edition in 1988. Organized by RideBike, it presents the distances of 85, 115 and 125 km respectively. Offering four departure times, at the choice of the participant: 8:15 am, 8:30 am, 8:45 am and 9:00 am.

Registration

One of the peculiarities of this event is that, whatever the distance you choose, the price does not change: 20 euros for those who present a federative cycling license and 25 euros for the rest of the participants!

Track

85 Km

The short distance has a 800 m slope over its 85 km route, highlighting the climbs to Andraka and Unbe.

115 Km

The classic distance stage of this event. Nice route, if we can fall back on a minimum of preparation, without big mountain difficulties. The climbs of Andraka and Unbe are joined in this route by Artebakarra, Gerekiz and Morga with a slope of 1200 m.

125 Km

The climb of Vivero is added to this route. It's always included in the stages of Vuelta Pais Vasco and Vuelta a España, passing through Bilbao and Bizkaia, due to its difficulty and beauty. We dare to say that this route requires a fairly higher level, since the altitude is around 1600 m, and not only in the ascent but also controlling the bike in the technical descent which offers impressive views of Bilbao. So, this route is well worth the effort.
