Gran Fondo Alberto Contador

The XI edition of the TotalEnergies Gran Fondo Alberto Contador is scheduled for September 23, 2023 in Oliva (Valencia). As the name suggests, participants will pedal hand in hand with one of the best Spanish cyclists of all time: Alberto Contador.

Oliva will once again be the scenario of this new edition, combining sport and tourism in a very challenging route for the participant. For the fourth year in a row, this city will host this Gran Fondo, with sections such as the Mirador del Xap or the Coll de Rates.

The Cycling Friendly Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort is the official accommodation of the Gran Fondo Alberto event, a perfect spot to experience a cycling atmosphere from the very first minute.

Stage

This event offers two different routes: Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo.

The Gran Fondo route, 162 km and highlighting the climbs of Llosa Camatxo, Coll de Rates, Sa Creueta, Fageca, Muro de Tollos, Mirador del Xap, Vall d'Ebo and Pego. A demanding route with up to 8 climbs in the Valencian Community.

The Medio Fondo route over a distance of 111 km, challenging the climbs of Llosa Camatxo, Coll de Rates, Sa Creueta, Pla de Petracos, Vall d'Ebo and Pego.

Registration

Registration fees range from 65 to 70 euros for either Gran Fondo or Medio Fondo. The registration limit for this year is 4,000 participants.
