We are delighted to be able to enjoy the Gran Fondo Onvelo Mataró on May 22, 2022. With departures and arrivals in the capital of Maresme and the best climbs of the Parque Natural del Montseny, some of which are very demanding. The event takes place in some of the region’s most iconic spots, with climbs of the Vuelta a Catalunya making it much more than just a cycling event.

The Gran Fondo OnVelo Mataró route has two options: Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo. Participants in the Gran Fondo must cover 152 km with a positive slope of 2,700 m. The route starts from 0 in Mataró to 1,300 m with the climbs of Parque Natural de Montseny, to return to Maresme, after having conquered the great passes of the Montseny region.
In the case of the Medio Fondo, the route is slightly more accessible: 93 km with a positive slope of 1400 m, starting and ending in Mataró, with access to the heart of the Parque Natural de Montseny, a climb that will delight all participants.

The organization will publish the circuit a few days before the start of the cycling tour. The race route will be open to road traffic, pedestrians and agricultural vehicles, so traffic rules must be observed at all times.
Each participant must be autonomous when resolving any mechanical incident, although the refreshments stations will have basic equipment for simple repairs and a vehicle at the end of the race.
Participants must attend the race with an approved helmet, a road bike and a mobile with charged battery.
Cancellation insurance allows you to cover the refund of registration fees without having to justify a reason, with 100% coverage of the amount up to 20 days before the test, and 50% up to 10 days before the test .
