La Cantabrona

La Cantabrona is scheduled for May 6 2023, an event organized by the Peña Ciclista Mario González from Polanco, located between Santander and Torrelavega. With the success of the figures of the last edition, where almost 2,000 cyclists were reached, a new road bike festival is expected in Cantabria.

Registration

Registration fee at La Cantabrona has a cost from 45 euros in one of its two modalities, either Gran Fondo or Medio Fondo. Registration includes a commemorative race jersey, racer's bag, ascent timing during the race, provisions, medical assistance and other services typical of a cycling tour of this level.

The race

Participants can choose to participate in the long course, 170 km and 3,394 m of elevation, through 5 passes; or they can do it in the 110 km version, through 3 different mountain passes. Starting and finishing at the same point.
