La Mussara

On April 16, 2023, the Gran Fondo la Mussara will be back. More than 27,000 participants since 2014. Pink jerseys on roads of Reus, province of Tarragona. Through the historic regions of Tarragona which include Baix Camp and El Priorat, making the event a cycling experience hard to forget. It is one of the races with the most women in all of Europe, and this year the organization has offered 3 different distances to adapt this cycling spectacle to all profiles.

The registration fee is currently 74 euros for all modalities. Whichever distance you choose, the price to participate is the same.

The routes

Long distance

188 km and more than 3,400 m of positive slope, the most demanding version of Mussara Reus covers up to twenty towns surrounded by the surroundings of the Mediterranean Sea with the Sierra de Montsant Natural Park.

Medium distance

This course has a length of 135 km and a slope of 2,500 m. Although this route shares a section with the long route, the detour offers a section of great beauty that passes through Ulldemolins, the Coll d'Albarca and the Siurana reservoir.

Short distance

Although this is a short course of 95 km and 1800 m of slope, it does not detract in anything to participate in this modality. This option offers an attractive route with the great climb to the Coll de la Mussara.
