Mallorca 140.6

The second edition of the Mallorca 140.6 is scheduled for September 24, 2023, a unique Long and Medium distance triathlon, in an incomparable natural environment that starts in Playa de Muro.

The aim of this triathlon is to become one of the reference long-distance events in Europe, both for amateurs and professionals. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 1,000 people. The event is organized by the company Kumulus, which has contributed to the organization of the most important sporting events on the island, such as the Zafiro Palma Marathon, the Porto Colom Triathlon, the Spartan Race Mallorca and IRONMAN Mallorca.

This event also includes a “Vintage” category, prepared for 50 participants in the 140.6 distance and 50 in the Half category. A category in which, among other things, only bicycles prior to 2000 are allowed to participate.

Registration

Participants can register in the modalities Mallorca 140.6, Mallorca 140.6 Half, Mallorca 140.6 Half Relay, Mallorca 140.6 and Half Category Vintage and Mallorca 140.6 Prof athletes. Athletes must be aged at least 18 years. The prices range from 350 to 550 euros in the Full version, between 150 and 250 euros in the Half version and between 300 and 500 euros in Relay. The registration limit is 400 in the Half modality and 600 in the Long distance.

Courses

Mallorca 140.6 is made up of 3.8 km Swim Course, 180 km Bike Course and 42,195 Run Course. The Half modality is, as the name suggests, half the distance of the complete route.

140.6 athletes must complete 2 loops in the Swim Course in Playa de Muro. Once completed the first section, the Bike Course will also be carried out in 2 loops of 89 km each, and each loop has a 357 m positive slope. In this segment, participants will cross a few villages such as Muro, Santa Margalida, Maria de la Salut, Ariany, Sineu, Llubí, Sa Pobla or Alcúdia. There are up to 3 aid stations per loop.

Finally, the Run Course must be completed in 4 loops of 10.3 km each, with a complete flat profile, a perfect course for sprinters. This segment will have 4 aid stations per loop.
