Description
A new edition of the Mozárabe Bike Race is scheduled for April 26, 2025, a MTB challenge in pairs in which participants will cycle 220 km, through up to 26 different cities. A challenge that constitutes the Camino de Santiago Mozárabe, a set of historical communication routes in the south and center of the Iberian Peninsula that acquired particular importance in the Middle Ages, when they connected the passes of Al-Andalus with the biggest inland cities.
Registration
The registration price is currently 300 euros per couple, with a price increase to 360 euros from May 16. Registration includes race jerseys and it is possible to take out optional cancellation insurance. Couples will be able to participate in the men’s, women’s or mixed MTB modes and in the e-Bike mode. Non-federated must pay the daily insurance of 10 euros to the Andalusian Cycling Federation to participate.
The Race
The route has a distance of 220 km and a dizzying average 4,500 m slope in this non-stop challenge. In addition, challenging the climbs to Los Blancares and Puerto Rágol.
