CALA AGULLA – ES COLL DE MARINA – CALA MESQUIDA – SON BARBASSA – CAMÍ REIAL – POSSESSIONS – ES CLAPER DES GEGANTS – CALA RATJADA
From Cala Agulla beach we ascend along the path to “Es Coll de Marina”; during the descent we have a view of Cala Mesquida. We cross the beach on a long wooden walkway and set off again on hilly tracks with ups and downs.
Later we reach Son Barbassa and from there the Camí Reial, the ancient King’s Road connecting the old Majorcan rural estates between Capdepera and Artá.
We continue along back roads through the outlying rural area. Towards the end of this route we pass a golf course which gives us access to “Es Claper des Gegants”, a prehistoric Talayotic settlement. A track takes us to the tourist resort Font de sa Cala with its wonderful little bay.
The road back to Cala Ratjada runs along by the sea.
