Des-Troyen route

A real challenge for any cyclist visiting Mallorca! Do you dare to do the Route Des-Troyen? Only for the boldest! No less than 3,700 m positive slope, which will be rewarded with a prize!

This route, starting from the Cycling Friendly Bar Troyen, will take you to some of the most important cycling spots on the island such as Puig Major, Sa Calobra or Formentor.

We start the route towards Bunyola to face the first climb of the day, the Coll de Sóller, one of the climbs with a lower percentage of the day. After the descent to Sóller we start the ascent to the longest pass on the island, the Puig Major with its 14.5 km.

Descending down the Escorca slope we must turn to then face the short but tough 3km of Coll dels Reis and descend to Sa Calobra, along the magnificent cycling "snake" of Mallorca and one of the most beautiful climbs in the world, and also one of the hardest!

After climbing two of Mallorca's toughest ascents, we descend to Pollença before heading towards the Faro de Formentor lighthouse. A must-see is the Mirador des Colomer viewpoint, finish point of the races of professional cycling teams boasting spectacular views.

Have courage, the hardest is behind us! There are "only" 70 km left until we come back to Bar Troyen and get our deserved prize !!!

Requirements of the Des Troyen route.

– Photo with the flag or the bicycle parking lot of Bar Troyen.

– Photo taken in Puig Major, Sa Calobra and Formentor.

– Final photo at Bar Troyen (they will be pinned to a bulletin board, “a wall of champions”, for all the brave who take up this challenge).

1- Pa amb oli normal: 5€ (normal retail price: 7€).

2- Pa amb oli "destroyen": 10 € (normal retail price: 15 €)

3- Entrecôte, salad and potatoes. €10 (normal retail price: €14)
