Info: On leaving the Son Net Grand Hotel, those who love cycling will enjoy tough climbs, steep slopes at Es Verger and visit the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana. The town of Esporles gives cyclists the opportunity to regain their strength before carrying on with their route.
We shall reach Es Verger to make the most of the lovely views of Esporles, before turning to Valldemossa (a picturesque town full of stone houses that lead to demanding climbs along the Teix river, culminating at the Coll peak). There, we shall hurtle downhill to reach one of the most beloved spots for Majorcans and tourists alike: Deià.
We will leave Deià to carry on via Sa Pedrissa. In between climbs and slopes, we shall catch glimpses of mountains and the sea, as well as of the different estates Archduke Lluís Salvador bought during his stay in the island (Son Marroig and Miramar). Moreover, we shall visit the idyllic spot of Sa Foradada.
We will then return to Valldemossa and keep riding our bikes on winding roads until we reach Esporles and finish our route back at the Son Net Grand Hotel.
Relax and get your legs ready! We’re about to start our cycling adventure!
