Playa de Muro – La Victoria

Description

Route and climbs: Playa de Muro – Alcúdia – Ermita de la Victoria.

A trail classified as easy for its short distance, but with a climb up to the Victoria Chapel with over 10% incline that requires a little more training.

Starting at Muro beach, the main cycling tourism centre of our island, with a wide range of hotels and services for cycling lovers, this trail runs through the Port d´Alcúdia up to Alcúdia village, from where we’ll head to the area of Es Mal Pas – Bonaire. After a few short but intense steep slopes, we will arrive at Victoria beach, where we’ll start to head back if we want an easier option, or we can continue to start the climb up to the Victoria Chapel, with spectacular views, and steeper ramps all the way up to the chapel.

This climb is the end of the difficult part of the trail, except for the steep climbs in the area of Es Mal Pas, and from Alcúdia, and after that through Port d´Alcúdia, where we’ll see a large number of cyclists, and we reach the starting point.
