This means that it has absolutely everything a cyclist needs for a perfect stay: a spacious Cycling Centre with a tool workshop for bike tuning, and in addition a bike rental service.
From Hotel Suites & Villas by Dunas, you can start attractive routes such as Risco Blanco, Pico de Bandama, El Doctoral, and the one so emblematic for the inhabitants of Gran Canaria, Roque Nublo or Ayagaures.
5. Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra
In Agaete, in the north of Gran Canaria, you will find the Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra, another GOLD Cycling Friendly accommodation with endless facilities for cyclists and non-cyclists. Like the rest, its location is overwhelming: built into a cliff from which you can glimpse Mount Teide and the Tamadaba Natural Park. A landscape of sea and mountains as singular as it is fascinating, which we will be forced to cross by bicycle.
The hotel offers 140 rooms with large terraces, and a cozy and elegant interior design. They have two on-site restaurants, El Juncal and the Rockstop Skybar, with stunning panoramic views. And of course the Obsidiana Spa is a luxury that we will certainly appreciate after a demanding cycle route.
From Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra we can start cycling routes to El Toscón, El Brezal, Faro de Sardina or Montañón Negro. Some are easier routes, others are more challenging… such as the climb to Pico de las Nieves. And for the record, we’re not repeating ourselves because we hate Pico de las Nieves, but because we believe it’s important to point out its difficulty.
