The Quebrantahusesos is one of the most recognized cycling routes on the national scene. Its next edition will be held on June 18, 2022, with a departure at 8:00 a.m. and an arrival deadline at 7:15 p.m. With departure and arrival in Sabiñáningo, the test passes through municipalities such as Jaca, Canfranc, Laruns, Panticosa or Biescas.
Bibs can be collected the day before from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on the day of the event up to one hour before the start.
The test has two routes: Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo (200 km) and Treparriscos Medio Fondo (85 km).
Due to the high demand, the participation of cyclists is subject to a draw, with one entry per person for one of the two options. In case of registration through the draw, the registration price varies between 75 and 87 euros.
Participation in one of the events is subject to a cycling license from the National Federation attached to the International Cycling Union, with cover insurance valid in Spain and France. If you do not have a license, it is compulsory to take out a one-day insurance policy offered by the organization, the cost of which is 12 euros.
In the case of choosing the option to participate in the Gran Fondo, it is mandatory to have a valid medical certificate that certifies that the participant is prepared for a test of these characteristics. Cyclists who have participated fifteen or more times in the Quebrantahuesos automatically have a place, without having to participate in the draw.
This edition marks the 30th anniversary of the Gran Fondo, giving an even more special halo to this cycling event that so many cycling enthusiasts wish to experience once in their lifetime.
