Why experience the Volcano Triathlon of Lanzarote?

As a good triathlete you have certainly once turned your attention to Lanzarote or heard legends about the spectacular experience of a triathlete event on the island. However, not all challenges in Lanzarote are suitable for everyone. And among the various options, the Volcano Triathlon de Lanzarote Club la Santa is one of the most attainable. It combines both great triathletes who have prepared their seasons on the island and many other amateurs whose goal is to reach the finish line without creeping.

Its affordable pricing, between 60 and 70 euros, is a perfect option for budgets that can't afford an IRONMAN. In addition, it can be a contact point with the island to experience a greater challenge later.

Well, if this event exists since 1984, we can assure you that it is not by chance. Experience is always wealth.

Where to stay for the Volcano Triathlon Lanzarote?

Alojamiento Ciclista Sentido Aequora Lanzarote Suites

Cycling Friendly offers specialised accommodation for cyclists and triathletes. Pool, Cycling Center to tune up your bike before the event, maximum comfort... but rather than trying to convince you with arguments, the best thing to do is to take a look at the available offer.

Recommendations to consider before the race.

Although this is an Olympic Distance triathlon, keep in mind that the average wind speed on the island between January and March is around 23 km/h. Those gusts of wind are nasty enough to slow the race down a bit, so it doesn't hurt to be prepared for that kind of weather discomfort. We don't have to worry so much about the temperature, pleasant weather is almost perfect to enjoy a triathlon.
