Etapa 1 Alforges Quatre Rius

The route leaves Calaf to follow the Valley of the Llobregós River to the population of Ponts. It can be done in Grangel and also in BTT. Circuit with a moderate slope that will allow us to enjoy populations with a lot of history and landscape, such as Calaf’s own bell tower Jewish, in Talteüll the Romanesque church of Sant Pere with two apses, Sanaüja with its castle in ruins and the old town, the fish tanks of the Llobregós river, ancient medieval locks to make the flour mills work, such as El Molino del Cava, the castle of Ribelles and arrival at the mouth in the Segre River, with the end of the stage in the town of Ponts. And let’s not forget to highlight the very peculiar geological formations in the area.
