Description
This country house is located in the Agua de Enmedio region, just 1.2 km from Macenas Beach, which you can see from the balcony of each room. This beach consists of 6 km of bays and hidden corners for nudism, including Sombrerico Beach, where films such as Treasure Island were made a few years ago, famous for its full moon nights and watching the Perseids or Tears from San Lorenzo in August and of course the tower of the Pirulico, from which, according to the oldest explanations, Africa could be seen in the past.
All rooms have a full bathroom, each designed and decorated differently.
Mojácar has an Arabic past, hence the tiles and floors were made of natural mud and decorated by hand by a hundred-year-old company in Granada, known for supplying materials for restoration work in buildings such as La AlHambra and Granada Cathedral, etc…. you can still see its old moruno oven.
In addition, all facilities in the house have daylight and ventilation.
The rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar, radiator heating, air conditioning and classic wooden furniture in dark colors. To prevent noise, the quietest air conditioning systems on the market have beens selected, as well as sound insulation.
The country house also has a room for disabled, an indoor lounge and a large garden terrace where you can enjoy an exquisite breakfast with typical products and homemade pastries – and with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, the castle of Macenas, in the background the mountains and our promenade, often visited at sunsets for sports, cycling, walking.
This area offers various hiking trails and especially cycle routes.
The city of Mojácar, the Cabo de Gata Natural Park or the famous Playa de los Muertos beach in Carboneras are around 10 minutes away. Almeria airport is less than an hour away.
