The fifth edition of the Catalunya Trail is scheduled from April 6 to 7, 2023. A multi-day MTB self-sufficiency event through the inhospitable landscapes of Cap de Creus and the Pyrenees, with a limit of 49 participants.
Participants will be able to register for three modalities: Challenge, Epic and Titan.
The registration fee for the Challenge modality is between 79 and 99 euros depending on the section in which the registration is formalized. In the case of the Epic mode, the price varies between 99 and 109 euros, and in the Titan mode the price varies between 119 and 139 euros. In all terms, 100 euros must be paid as a deposit to the geolocator made available for the event, so that the location of the participants can be known at any time and improve their security. In addition, non-federates must pay a supplement of 15 euros in the case of participants in the Epic or Challenge modality, and 25 euros in the TItan.
The registration opening for the Catalunya Trail starts on February 3, 2022.
The Challenge modality runs over 230 km in which a positive slope of 4,568 m will be reached. In the case of the Epic modality, the distance is 400 km, with a positive slope of 8,872 m.
Finally, the Titan modality, 650 km and a positive slope of 12,000 m, on a circular route with departure and arrival in Girona, passing through important natural parks on the coast combined with lonely climbs. The departure of the Epic and Challenge modalities are on July 9, and the Titan modality, being of more distance, on July 8.
