The Parador de Arties is located just seven kilometres from the Baqueira Beret ski resort, in the Catalan Pyrenees. This jewel of Aranese architecture dating from the 14th and 15th centuries has warm, cosy rooms, sloping ceilings and wooden beams, and offers fantastic views of the village houses and the mountain peaks.
If you visit the Val d’Aran during the ski season, don’t forget to book your table in advance in our restaurant-cocktail bar area. A perfect place for après ski, where you can meet friends, go with your partner or family and enjoy a select cocktail menu by the fireplace after a long day in the snow. But don’t think that the Parador de Arties is just a place for a winter trip. When the heat arrives, you can cool off in the swimming pool and relax in the hammocks in the garden, gazing at the Pyrenees mountains.
The Val d’Aran was one of the first Catalan towns to receive the Sports Tourism Destination seal, and in addition to the sports that the snow allows you to practise, it offers spectacular hiking routes through the Pyrenees.
