Entre el Montnegre i la costa
Description
The Montnegre Park and the corridor manages the coastal massifs that extend from the Arroyo de Argentona to the mouth of the Tordera River, in the region that connects the Maresme and the Vallès. Despite the growth of urban areas, the rugged and mountainous areas still maintain outstanding landscapes with Mediterranean forests that include holm oaks and chestnut trees, as well as large masias and cultivation fields. The described route begins with an ascent along the northeastern foothills of Montnegre, covering the journey between the town of Tordera and the historic parish of Hortsavinyà. Then, descend to the coast, passing through Pineda de Mar, to finally return to the starting point through Malgrat de Mar and Palafolls, where you can visit its imposing castle.
