The edition of the 4 Stage MTB Race Lanzarote 2023 is scheduled for January 28-31.

Distances and Routes?

4 Stage MTB Race Lanzarote consists of 4 stages: 2 XC C3, a time trial and an XCM stage. The first two stages are 44 and 57 km respectively, the time trial is 21 km and the last stage is 82 km. A total of 202 km of stunning but rugged landscapes, sandy trails and lava fields that only a cold heart can leave unmoved. Although the routes are not yet known, there are almost 3,900 m of cumulative slope in four stages.

Registration fees and how to register?

Registration fees vary depending on the number of stages. You can choose to do all 4 stages or do one of them individually. If we opt for a single stage the price is 60 euros; if we opt for 2 stages the price is 110 euros; for three stages the price is 170 euros; and if you opt for the complete kit of 4 stages the price is 220 euros. Registration limit is set at 600 participants, and you can sign up through the event's website.

If you cancel before November 28, 25% of the registration fee will be refunded to you, as it is not possible to transfer the registration to other participants.

What pre-race recommendations should I consider?

Lanzarote has unique qualities throughout the year that allow the practice of many sports. Its pleasant climate is ideal for cycling, although there are two factors that are present during the month of January on the island: wind and precipitation. As for the wind, because we will have to face gusts of wind of around 22 km/h on average. Precipitation is also more frequent than the other months, although it is generally not very heavy. However, preparing for these two adverse weather conditions during your previous training plan won't be a bad idea.
