Description
Andorra MTB Classic will take place from, July on Sunday, with start and finish in La Massana, in the Principality of Andorra. This prestigious mountain‑bike stage race is part of the Epic Series, placing it among the most demanding and internationally recognized MTB events in the world.
The race is held over four consecutive stages, entirely in the high mountains of the Andorran Pyrenees. Riders tackle alpine singletracks, high‑altitude climbs, rocky descents and forest trails, in a setting defined by altitude, technical difficulty and constant elevation changes. The terrain demands strong physical condition, technical skills and consistent performance across multiple days.
The full event covers approximately 200–203 km, with around 6,400–6,500 metres of accumulated elevation gain across the four stages. Each stage varies in length and profile, combining long endurance efforts with steep climbs and demanding descents typical of high‑mountain MTB racing.
Andorra MTB Classic 202 is a non‑stop stage race, focused on consistency, resilience and team or individual strategy rather than single‑day performance. Daily recovery, bike management and energy control are essential to successfully complete the event.
With its high‑mountain terrain, international participation and inclusion in the Epic Series calendar, the Andorra MTB Classic has established itself as a reference event for experienced mountain bikers seeking one of the most challenging and complete stage‑race experiences in Europe.
