Aragón Bike Race Calatayud

A new edition of the Aragón Bike Race Calatayud is scheduled from March 9 to 13, 2022, a UCI category MTB event that has great appeal within the Aragonese territory.

Registrations can be made until March 1, and participants can sign up for the 4 stages, the option Half in two stages or the individual stage option.

The price for registering for the 4 stages is 125 for the first 100 places, 155 for the next 200 places, 175 euros from place 301 and 205 euros from February 22.

In the case of the Half version, the price will be 77 euros for the first 100 places and 92 euros for the next 100 places. Finally, for the version by individual stages, the price for the first 50 places will be 42 euros, and 52 euros for the next 50 places.

In the case of being a non-federated cyclist, 10 euros per day license must be paid for each day in which they participate.

There is an optional cancellation insurance of 17 euros.

The Stage

10/3 – Stage Flas C.R.I

The first stage consists of a 21 km time trial with participants leaving every 60 seconds. It will start at the Calatayud fairgrounds and its goal will be located at the Ermita de San Roque.

11/3 – Stage Maratón

The first of the marathon stages arrives on Friday, with a start and finish in the sports town of Calatayud. A stage that crosses the Sierra Vicor, reaching an altitude of 1,300 m over 70 km, with more track than path and with the highest accumulated slope of the entire competition.

12/3 – Stage Maratón

On Saturday, the participants will face the difficult 55 km, starting at the Calatayud Exhibition Center and finishing at Paseo Cortes de Aragón. On this occasion, the stage will cross the Sierra de Armantes, an area full of trails through the Castillo de San Roque and the famous descent of the Guano.

13/3 – Stage Maratón

The closing of the Aragon Bike Race Calatayud will start and end at the Calatayud Exhibition Center. Stage which will also take place in the Sierra de Armantes.
