Description
Scott Cup Costa Brava 2026 will take place in October, with start and finish in Tossa de Mar, on the Costa Brava, in the province of Girona, Catalonia. This mountain bike event is part of the Scott Cup series and continues the legacy of the former Epic Costa Brava, offering an intense MTB experience in a spectacular coastal setting.
The route explores the rugged and wild landscapes of the Costa Brava interior, combining rocky trails, forest singletracks, technical descents and demanding climbs, often with open views over the Mediterranean Sea. The terrain is varied and physically demanding, requiring good technical skills and solid endurance.
Scott Cup Costa Brava offers two main distance options. The shorter Rally route covers around 37 km with approximately 1,300 metres of elevation gain, suitable for riders looking for a compact but challenging ride. The longer Marathon route features about 70 km with roughly 2,300 metres of elevation gain, designed for experienced mountain bikers seeking a tougher endurance challenge. Both routes are also open to e‑MTB categories.
The event follows a non‑competitive format, focused on personal challenge, rider experience and enjoyment of the terrain rather than racing. High‑quality organisation, marked routes and full rider services ensure a demanding yet accessible event for different levels.
With its dramatic coastal scenery, technical trails and well‑established organisation, the Scott Cup Costa Brava has become a reference MTB event for riders looking to combine mountain biking, adventure and Mediterranean landscapes in a single challenge.
