Description
Infinitriman will take place in October, in the province of Castellón, within the Valencian Community, eastern Spain. This iconic multi‑day ultra‑triathlon is one of the longest‑running extreme endurance events in Spain and is designed for athletes seeking a true test of physical and mental limits.
The event follows the Ultraman format, spread over three consecutive days, combining open‑water swimming, long‑distance cycling and a double‑marathon run across coastal and mountainous terrain. The routes explore the Mediterranean coastline and the interior mountains of Castellón, including sections through the Sierra de Espadán, with constant elevation changes and long, isolated stretches that demand careful pacing and self‑management.
Infinitriman offers two formats. The Ultraman distance consists of approximately 10 km of swimming, 421 km of cycling and 84.4 km of running, divided across the three stages. The Half Ultraman option reduces the overall distance while maintaining the multi‑day structure and endurance character of the event, making it more accessible to experienced ultra‑triathletes.
Infinitriman is a non‑drafting and highly controlled event, with limited participation numbers and strict cut‑off times. Strategy, recovery between stages, nutrition planning and mental resilience are as crucial as physical conditioning to successfully complete the challenge.
With its extreme format, demanding routes and long‑standing reputation, Infinitriman has become a benchmark ultra‑triathlon for athletes looking to push beyond conventional long‑distance races and experience one of the toughest endurance multisport events in southern Europe.
