Les 3 Ballons – Mediofondo
Description
In the organiser’s 2026 programme the Mediofondo starts at 7:25 from the Esplanade du Stade in Ronchamp and covers 93 km with 2,200 m of climbing. The organiser lists the Ballon de Servance (1,216 m), then the Ballon d’Alsace (1,247 m), before the final climb to La Planche des Belles Filles.
Two feed stations are provided, and the same time limits apply as on the Granfondo: 9:20 at Le Thillot and 17:45 at Plancher-les-Mines.
The finish is the same as the long route: La Planche des Belles Filles, with sections above 15% according to the organiser. A self-service pasta party awaits at the top, and Ronchamp is about 14 km away, mostly downhill or gently descending. The organiser publishes an official GPX file for the 2026 course.
