Description
The Mussara Comunidad de Madrid 2026 will take place for the first time on September 27, 2026, becoming the only Mussara event held in the region this year. The base of the event will be located in Villanueva de la Cañada, where both the start and finish areas will be set, turning this municipality into the center of one of the most anticipated cycling events of the season.
The event features two completely new routes, designed to explore lesser-known roads and natural landscapes in the western part of the Community of Madrid. While the traditional Mussara spirit remains, this edition departs from the usual routes in Villanueva del Pardillo to offer newly designed courses and a refreshed approach.
Cyclists will be able to choose between two distances:
150 km approximately for the long route
113 km for the short route
Both routes will run entirely through the Community of Madrid, combining natural scenery, quiet secondary roads, and sections with elevation changes. The organization has indicated that full route details will be revealed soon, but participants will cross several well-known towns in western Madrid, making it an ideal setting for long-distance cycling.
This new event expands the Mussara calendar and reinforces its presence within the national cycling scene, offering a high-quality, non-competitive experience suitable for amateur cyclists and endurance athletes looking to add valuable kilometers in a unique atmosphere.
