Sparkassen Münsterland Giro – Cup der Sparkasse Münsterland Ost
Description
The 65 km Cup der Sparkasse Münsterland Ost is the gentlest of the amateur races. It starts on the Prinzipalmarkt in Münster and, in 2026, headed west through Roxel and Schapdetten before reaching Billerbeck on the edge of the Baumberge hills.
The organiser describes the route as mostly flat with only a few metres of climbing, so it suits riders who want a fast, closed-road day without long ascents. After Billerbeck the course continued via Darfeld and back into Münster, finishing in front of Münster Castle.
The organiser sets a minimum average speed of 26 km/h, so the pace is brisk even on the easy profile. The figures here are those of the 2026 route; the 2027 course has not been published yet.
