Clàssica dels Murs

The Clàssica dels Murs It is a very peculiar road cycling event, the long route has 162 km and a cumulative slope of 2650 m, but we find 17 very vertical walls (Murs), like real small mountain passes that are added one after the other consecutively with hardly any rest.

Each “Mur” (wall) has a star rating on the level of hardness and some go up to 20% maximum slope.

If any runner does not want to suffer so much, they can choose the shortest but equally demanding option, with 96.5 km and 1,480m of accumulated elevation gain and with 8 Murs (walls), one of them with a maximum gradient of 17.5%.

It is held on May 5, 2024 in the city of Cervera, in the Segarra region, in central Catalonia, undulating landscapes of this small Tuscany.
