East Urdaibai Section of the Tour Grand Départ: Gernika and Urdaibai beaches

With this adaptation of the official route of the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2023, you will tour the eastern side of the Urdaibai reserve.

From Gernika-Lumo, the route passes through Kortezubi and under the castle of Arteaga to go up the coast road towards the beaches of Laida and Laga and continue towards Ibarrangelu.

From here, it is time to ascend to Ereño and Nabarniz, where you will reach an altitude of 346 meters after more than 12 kilometers of ascent and with magnificent views. From Nabarniz, all that remains is to go down to Gernika-Lumo.
