GRAVEL ROSES – ALBERA

The route covers an extensive area of ​​the Empordà Alt, ascending north through the plain, through agricultural landscapes and some lovely villages before reaching the foothills of the Pyrenees, specifically in the natural place of national interest of the shell. In this region, we will have the opportunity to admire the majestic Romanesque monastery of Sant Quirze de Colra and the beautiful requesens castle, which rises imposing at the top of a mountain. After a rapid descent towards the plain, our way back will surprise us by taking us through places of great interest, such as Castelló d’Empúries, adding a final touch to this exciting journey.
