Rhön-Radmarathon – Tour B

Tour B, the ‘Basic’ long route, covered 183 km with about 2,800 m of climbing in 2026 (the page heading gives 182 km), starting and finishing in Bimbach. According to the organiser the key climbs are the Milseburg, the climb to the Schwarze Moor from Seiferts, the Schwedenwall from Bischofsheim and the Große Nickus after the Oberzell checkpoint.

The finish is gentler: a gradual climb to Buchenrod, then a run that is mostly downhill along the Jossa and Lüder rivers back to Bimbach. Checkpoints are listed at Oberzell and before Buchenrod.
