Artzentales–Gordexola-Artziniega-Peña Angulo-Villasana de Mena

This route starts and finishes in Artzentales. After reaching and descending the Alto de La Herbosa, we will reach Balmaseda. Here, in the first town of Bizkaia, we will tour the medieval old town and head towards Villasana de Mena (Burgos).

From here, towards our next goal: the Peña de Angulo, with its imposing and steep silhouette, open on the ridge and covered with beech trees for a good part of the route. The descent will take us to the gates of Artziniega, in Araba, where we will start our return to Enkarterri.

Then on to Gordexola, follwing a route dotted with farmhouses, Indian houses and medieval towers. We will reach Zalla by climbing San Cosme and, returning to La Herbosa to reach our destination.
