Güeñes-Humaran-Las Muñecas-La Granja-La Herbosa

Cycling route starting in Güeñes and to Galdames via Alto de Humaran. Past the monumental church of Santa María from the 16th century, which integrates Gothic and Renaissance elements and houses valuable pieces.

Once in Galdames, we head towards Sopuerta with one goal: Puerto de Las Muñecas, which connects Enkarterri with Cantabria and gives us a beautiful view of the neighboring valleys, sometimes hidden behind the dense pine and eucalyptus forests.

The descent takes us to Santullán and Sámano, two districts of Castro Urdiales from where we start the return to Enkarterri by climbing the Puerto de La Granja.

Entrance through Turtzioz. After descending the Alto de La Herbosa, we arrive in the municipality of Balmaseda, although we will limit ourselves to taking the road to neighboring Zalla. In the Otxaran district we cycle along the largest Txakoli vineyard in Enkarterri and after a few kilometers we reach Güeñes.
