Islantilla – Embalse del Río Piedras
Description
Cycling route for road bikes from Islantilla reaching Embalse del Río Piedras (image), with a maximum capacity of 60 hm³.
It was built in 1968 along Río Piedras, occupying 800 hectares and providing the Western Coast of the Huelva province.
During the route you will visit the towns of Lepe and Cartaya, in addition to an extensive pine forest and irrigated fields, supplied by the reservoir.
