Sodupe – Eretza

MTB cycling route starting at the church of San Vicente de Sodupe to join the bidegorri (cycle lane) parallel to the river Kadagua towards La Quadra, Zaramillo and Arbuio. The cycle lane ends in this neighborhood of Alonsotegi, so we will join the main road, with very little traffic.

Once in the center of Alonsotegi, cross the bridge to the other side of the Kadagua and continue towards the Kastrexana area, where the ascent to Mount Eretza (887 m) starts.

We leave Ermita de Santa Águeda (hermitage) behind, followed by a descent that gives way to the actual ascent through 100% mountain scenery. A demanding route that compensates for the effort with the beauty of the surroundings when reaching the summit, with an incomparable silhouette and the best views of Sodupe and the adjacent valleys.
