In addition to the vibrant cycling and cultural atmosphere of Seville’s historic center and its extensive bike lane network, the city offers significant Roman heritage, such as the collections at the Antiquarium and the archaeological finds preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Seville—especially the Roman statues discovered in Itálica.
The final destination of the day is Santiponce, the first major urban center connected by the Via Augusta. Here awaits one of the most important Roman archaeological sites in all of Hispania: Itálica, birthplace of emperors Trajan and Hadrian. Cyclists can explore the Roman amphitheater, the famous mosaics of the House of the Birds, Neptune, and the Exedra, as well as the Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, the Cotidiana Vitae Interpretation Center, and the Fernando Marmolejo Museum—completing a stage where history becomes tangible with every pedal stroke.
