Milano-Sanremo Amatori
Description
The ride starts in Settala, on the edge of Milan, and spends its first stretch on the Lombard plain, heading through Pavia and Voghera towards Piedmont and the towns of Tortona and Novi Ligure. After Acqui Terme the route enters Liguria at Sassello and climbs the Colle del Giovo (5.7 km, 516 m, 2.7% average, 8% maximum), before dropping to the coast at Albissola, about 200 km in.
The Aurelia then runs flat for around 60 km through Savona, Finale Ligure, Albenga and Alassio. Three capes follow: Capo Mele (2.5 km, 5.2% average), Capo Cervo (2.5 km, 4.1%) and Capo Berta (3 km, 4.3%, up to 8%). The finale is Cipressa (5.6 km, 4.1%, up to 7%) and Poggio di Sanremo (3.7 km, 3.5%), then the finish on Corso Salvo d’Acquisto. These details describe the 2026 route, which the organiser says followed the 2025 professional race.
