ROAD ROSES – BANYULS

We will start and end our route by peda -to -the -peaceful plain of Empordà. However, before that, we will cross the mass of Cabo de Creus, where he meets the Albera massif, in the direction of Llançà. Next, we will enjoy a beautiful stretch of the Costa Brava, with soft hills, followed by the red coast, until we reach Banyuls. Then, we will return to the plain, crossing the Sierra de la Albera through the steep slopes of the Banyuls. This abrupt coast gives us views of vineyards and pine forests by the sea, while the Pyrenees descend towards the Mediterranean by our side. We will find endless shrubs that climb the ridges, old red stone terraces, olive and cork oak crops, and finally, the peaceful agricultural plain. A true oasis of tranquility.
