Castellón – Puerto Aín – Puerto Eslida – Puerto Marianet – Castellón

A very popular route in the province of Castellón through the Sierra de Espadán.

We leave the city of Onda and start the ascent to Eslida, passing various villages such as Veo or Aín, which have retained their medieval structure.

We can still see the "fridges", stone buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries that were used to store snow all year round.

Some examples are that of Castro in Alfondeguilla, that of Espadán between Algimia de Almonacid and Alcudia de Veo or that of Cuatro Caminos in Villamalur.
