Mallorca 312 (Distancia 225km)
Description
One of the most challenging and significant cycling races of the year, the Mallorca 312 takes place on the cycling paradise of Majorca! Cyclists have to cover a distance of 312 kilometers on Majorcan roads with slopes of 5050 meters.
The route starts and ends at Playa de Muro, with the initial leg leading from Puerto de Pollença to the Sierra de Tramuntana, the primary mountain range of the Balearic Islands, declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first section of the Sierra is the most challenging, featuring steep climbs, but the stunning views of the impressive cliffs and fresh air of the island make it a memorable experience. The route passes through charming and picturesque mountain villages such as Deyá, Valldemosa, and Bañalbufar. Once you reach Andratx, you begin the return journey to the Mallorca 312 base, following a flatter path through the other side of Mallorca and passing towns like La Puebla, Santa Margarita, and Petra before reaching Artá and finally, back to Playa de Muro through the stunning Bay of Alcúdia.
