Mallorca 312 – Original Route
Description
Mallorca 312 is one of the most important and popular cycling races of the year, offering a challenging experience on the cycling paradise of Majorca! The route spans 312 kilometers on Majorcan roads with slopes of 5050 meters.
The start and finish lines are located at Playa de Muro, and the route takes cyclists from Puerto de Pollença to the Sierra de Tramuntana, the primary mountain range of the Balearic Islands, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first part of the Sierra is the most difficult with steep climbs, but the stunning views make it worth the effort. During the ride, you can enjoy the clean and fresh air of the island while passing through charming and idyllic mountain villages such as Deyá, Valldemosa, and Bañalbufar. Once you reach Andratx, you will start heading back to the Mallorca 312 base, taking a flatter route through the other side of Mallorca, passing towns like La Puebla, Santa Margarita, and Petra.
