Ortuella – Trápaga – La Arboleda – Gallarta

Cycling route for road bikes through the strategic points of the old Mining Zone, starting from the center of Ortuella. The road heads south towards the area of La Orkonera, La Reinta and La Arboleda.

From here we head north again to the Gallarta district, in Abanto-Zierbena, where the Museo de la Minería del País Vasco is located.

Along the route we find old open pit mines, such as the old Concha II mine, with its impressive cut.

Others have been converted into lakes and green spaces.
