Trainning Camp la Seu d’Urgell – Quatre Batlles
Description
Route that begins and ends at the Seu d’Urgell. We left the lever bridge of the same city in the direction of Tuixent, long ascent to the coll of the trava and the coll d’Anat passing through Montant de Tost and descent to the Segre River to reach the seu d’Urgell . The landscapes on this route are spectacular, such as the Vansa Vansa I the Montant tost highlands. Recommended stop in the towns of Fórnols, Sorribes de la Vansa I Arfà with its Romànico bridge. As well as the visit to the Seu d’Urgell com his Olympic Park of the Segre and his precious Romànica cathedral. Road cycling circuit used by professional cyclists residing in Andorra to simulate high mountain stages. It runs through one of the most remote areas of Catalonia, surrounding Port del Compte massif and crossing the western part of the Sierra del Cadí. Throughout the route, there are numerous viewpoints. The roads have little traffic, with the exception of the section between Adrall and Organyà, which covers about 17 km. Starting from the Seu D’Argell, a secondary road to Arfa is taken to avoid the national road. The first 30 km are predominantly in descent, but from Figols, a stretch of constant rises and declines begins, exceeding more than 4,000 m of positive slope in less than 130 km. A real challenge. Ports to highlight: Boix or Alinyà neck (1st) dry saw neck (3rd) Ferriol neck (2nd) Alto de Montnou (esp.) Port neck (1st) Banks neck (2nd) Cerv )
