La Pineda – Botarell – Pantà Riudecanyes (BTT)
Description
Circular BTT route linking the coast with the inland landscapes of Baix Camp, combining flat coastal sections with more demanding climbs towards the Riudecanyes reservoir.
The route starts in La Pineda, heading through Cambrils before gradually entering rural terrain towards Montbrió del Camp and Botarell, surrounded by Mediterranean farmland and olive groves. From here, the route gains elevation on forest tracks leading to the Pantà de Riudecanyes, the most scenic and physically demanding section.
After the reservoir, the route continues with more technical and varied terrain, followed by a progressive descent towards Mont-roig del Camp. The final stretch returns along faster, flatter sections by the coast back to La Pineda.
